The cost of the editing will depend on the quality of the English of the material submitted and on how quickly you would like the work done.
Standard editing will apply to most writing that can be understood reasonably well. If the English is difficult for us to understand, then Intensive editing will be required.
For all submissions, we will contact you to let you know which service will be required (see FAQ #1), and we will provide an exact price for the complete editing service. No work will begin and no fee charged until you agree to the quoted price.
Normal processing requires 3-4 business days. Express processing requires a maximum of 2 business days. Do you have an emergency? Please see FAQ #6.
Proofreading requires only 2 business days.

For example, a page of A4 paper will have about 250 words, and a manuscript for a journal may have 15 typewritten pages. Each page would cost 7.50€ (250 words X 0.03€/word), and the entire manuscript would cost 112.50€ (15 pages X 7.50€/page), for Normal processing and Standard editing. The processing fee of 10€ would bring the total to 122.50€. A manuscript of the same length but with Express processing would cost 197.50€ in total, or 272.50€ if Intensive editing is also required. For scientific manuscripts sent to journals, the above fees include the editing of minor revisions requested by the journals' editors. The English editing of major rewrites or additions is available at reduced rates.
Lower rates are available for longer documents, such as theses, book chapters, or books. Processing times will necessarily be longer. Please contact us for a quote and an estimate of processing time concerning this type of document.
